Royal Enfield recently launched some new bikes in the form of Interceptor and Continental GT 650. Both bikes are based on Royal Enfield’s new ‘P’ platform. However, the engine enabling Royal Enfield 650 twins is not a BS-VI-ready engine. Bosman Siddharth Lal of owner of Royal Enfield brand, Siddharth Lal, said that for the next two years no new bike will be launched on the bee platform. Post that, the bike will be sleeveled on the platform. Here are all upcoming bikes that will be based on platform P platform and powered by 650cc engine.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 650
Himalayan 650 is one of the most anticipated bikes of the brand. The current version of the Royal Enfield Himalayan receives power from an all new LS410 engine, but most owners find the Himalaya less. The Royal Enfiled Himalayan 650 will be a perfect highway cruiser and there will also be enough capacity to wrap the rough roads. It is likely to be available in the beginning of 2020, followed by an official launch the same year.
Royal Enfield Classic 650
Royal Enfield is the best-selling bike in the classic India above 300cc segment. The classic timeless design is an ideal choice for many enthusiasts who want a prestigious looking bike with modern day amenities. The classic 650 will keep the current design alive, but it will be very big to see in proportion to the larger engine. While the Royal Enfield Interceptor looks perfect in segments, it lacks the classic iconic design.
Royal Enfield Thunderbird 650
Royal Enfield Thunderbird is currently available with both 350cc and 500cc engine configurations. Thunderbird’s comfortable ride situation makes it an excellent bike for long distance travel. Thunderbird is the first choice of many long distance riders, and it also gets a prestigious design. Royal Enfield Thunderbird will offer smooth parallel-twin engines for 650 tireless highway mile financing.
Royal Enfield Scrambler 650
Royal Enfield is shortly launching Scramblers, which is known as Trials with its 350cc and 500cc engines in India. After the single-cylinder versions of the bike, Royal Enfield will launch the Large Scambler 650. Bike can get a minimalistic design with a chopped fender and double-purpose tires. With flat handlebars, the bike will get very aggressive posture too. Scramblers 650 will be an ideal option for those who take the dirt track or off-roading most of the time while riding the city, and not every time they do.
Royal Enfield Bobber 650
The Royal Enfield showcased the KX concept last year, which is an all-new bobber style bike with 838cc engine. While the All-New 838 CC is far from the bobber production line, Royal Enfield can launch a small version of the 650cc engine powered bike. Bobber may be based on classic, but it can get minimal treatment for it. Expect to get out of bike’s footpages, single-seat and relaxed riding positions.
